Tangible apologies.
A real apology from a rental team acknowledges what happened, names the impact, and does something about it — a rent credit, waived fee, or replacement — not just kind words.
What's normal
Asking for a small credit after a real inconvenience is normal and reasonable.
Your plays
Say what happened, name the impact, and suggest a fair remedy in the same message.
What's raising eyebrows
"We're so sorry" repeated across three weeks with nothing behind it.
A tangible apology sounds like: "You lost use of the kitchen for six days. We're crediting $X and waiving this month's package fee." A hollow apology sounds like: "We're so sorry for the inconvenience." Both are common. Only one actually resets the relationship.
When you're the one asking, spell out what would make it right. Most teams will meet a fair request. Very few will guess correctly on their own.
